Smash to Serve Pickleball Fundraiser Event

Welcome Pickleballers!

Our annual Smash to Serve Pickleball Tournament helps us serve Calgarians in need and your participation makes an impact!

We are excited that this year’s event will be hosted at The Riverside Club Calgary with 8 courts, so that we can welcome even more participants for our expanded 2-day event. We have competitions for Womens, Mens, and Mixed teams each with multiple skill level options.

Join us for a fun day of pickleball filled with opportunities to learn about how The Salvation Army in Calgary is serving Calgarians in need.

Food insecurity is a growing struggle for many Calgarians and the communities of Greater Forest Lawn (36 separate communities are under this umbrella) are especially vulnerable. We offer a variety of programs to support families and individuals: Emergency Food Hampers, Infant Essentials for new parents, Community Meals, and Christmas Food Hampers.

With all our programs, clients leave with more than just a full grocery bag. They are also connected with other programs and resources to help them build independence as they journey towards long-term stability.

Funds raised at this event help us ensure that we have resources to serve those in need well.
