Summer FUN for kids!
Every kid deserves a summer adventure! The Salvation Army is providing weekly day camps at our Community Resource Centre in Forest Lawn all through the summer for just $5 per camper. Kids learn and play together; developing confidence and making friends. We also help many kids and teens enjoy a traditional camp experience at our beautiful Pine Lake Camp. Check out our Program Calendar to learn more about opportunities for summer fun and also what adventures will be coming this fall.
Caring for kids and supporting families is integral to how we strengthen our community together. We support families with food security programs and also with seasonal helps like our Backpack and Toy Angel programs. Thanks to the generosity of Calgarians, this August we will be distributing 1,200+ backpacks with school supplies to help ensure every Calgary kid can start their school year with confidence.
