Our Ministry Unity in Calgary, Alberta is made up of several departments:

Resident Support Workers

Working as part of an overall care team, Resident Support Workers provide administrative and facility support to residents in our Shelter and Transitional Housing programs. 

Resource Specialists

Our Resource Specialists are just that - specialists in connecting to resources.  Some serve residents in our shelter programs and and others work with clients in our community and family services programs but all provide assistance with setting goals, navigation to suitable resources, and encouragement and support in the journey.  Aside from client-centred care, Resource Specialists also provide leadership for program initiatives, and ongoing administrative support. 

Outreach Workers

Our Outreach Workers support individuals experiencing homelessness through a variety of mobile programs that meet individuals where they are.  Outreach Workers build relationship and aim to walk alongside as  individuals experiencing homelessness define and work towards their unique goals. 

Facilities

Our Facilities Team work to keep our spaces safe and clean.  This team includes both Facilities Technicians, Maintenance Technicians and Custodial staff, supporting each of our 3 locations.

Food Services

Our Food Services team provide meals for the 350+ residents in our shelter and housing programs, working from commercial kitchens either at our our Centre of Hope or our West Campus location.  The team also provide catering for our community programs as needed. 

Spiritual and Religious Care

Our Spiritual and Religious Care team is made up of Chaplains who provide spiritual support to residents, clients, volunteers, and staff.
