Smash to Serve Pickleball Fundraiser Event

Thank You Pickleballers!

Our annual Smash to Serve Pickleball Tournament was a big success. Together, we raised over $17,000 to help feed hungry Calgarians!

It was a joy to spend a couple of days with the 164 registered players and their family and friends who came along to support them. We appreciate your participation and your heart for our community.

Event Winners

A huge thank you to our volunteer Planning Committee for dedication and hours of hard work!

And thank you to The Riverside Club for partnering with us this year so that we could make the event bigger and better!

And thank you to everyone for helping us keep the FUN in fundraiser!

How the Smash to Serve Fundraiser impacts Calgarians:

Food insecurity is a growing struggle for many Calgarians and the communities of Greater Forest Lawn (36 separate communities are under this umbrella) are especially vulnerable. We offer a variety of programs to support families and individuals: Emergency Food Hampers, Infant Essentials for new parents, Community Meals, and Christmas Food Hampers.

With all our programs, clients leave with more than just a full grocery bag. They are also connected with other programs and resources to help them build independence as they journey towards long-term stability.

The $17,000 + raised at this year’s Smash To Serve Pickleball Fundraiser will help ensure this work continues!
